A Very Christmas Weekend!

Wow, What a weekend! We were definitely in the HOLIDAY MOOD this past weekend.
On Friday night we took 3 of our nieces to a Ward Dinner to see Santa Claus and then came and took pictures in front of the Christmas tree.
Then on Saturday, after a huge Open House party, we got together with the Gerrards and the Thackerays to make gingerbread houses and a gingerbread train. I was the only smart one that wore an old T-shirt - everyone else got frosting on their nice clothes :) I love doing these - especially watching the creativity of the kids. It's so much fun to decorate and chow down on goodies at the same time.
Then Sunday was the Wood Family Christmas party. We were all there, including Great Grandma Wood. We had such a good time. There was an over-fill of yummy food. Then we played this game where you had to bend down (without touching the floor with your hands or your knees) and pick up a paper bag with your teeth -- once you get the bag you stand up and tear a piece off the top -- the bag gets smaller and smaller. It was so much fun.
I had one of my best weekends in a long time - PLUS it snowed yesterday. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!
