Tag From Keely

So the name of the game for this tag is to choose your
4th picture in your 4th folder, and then talk about it.

This picture was in my "Work Pictures" folder.

This is me and my friend, Dene. We were both dressed in pink and black - so we took a picture. Dene has been at RE/MAX for 3 years - so she's been there the whole time I have. She knows the office like the back of her hand. She is everyone's go-to girl.

On a personal note, Dene is quite easy to talk to and can make any day fun at work. She's very talented in many ways: she can fix almost any computer issue, she knows a lot about cosmetology and is a great "WAXER" and she is also very creative.

Dene, thanks for who you are. You are fun and kind and have always been a support to me at work. Love you, Love you, Love you!

I TAG EVERYONE (who hasn't done it already) -- This is a fun tag!

The Life of a Hunter

Some of our family members drew Cow Elk tags for an area near Strawberry that none of us knew very well. So the weekend before the opener we (me, Brian, Jake and Jeff) went scouting. The weather was beautiful and the turning leaves were a sight to see. We had a great time exploring and the boys ran into quite a few elk we could shoot. I personally had a spike tag.
So... the next weekend we (me, Brian, Jeff, Steve, Zac and Lynn) went hunting in that same area. It was a little bit chilly, but the biggest thing was the rain. It was wet and slippery. The very first morning we ran into a whole herd and Jeff ran after them. He shot at them, but had no luck. Another time, we were sitting in a meadow and Jeff decided to go hike to the other meadow to see what was there. And lo and behold, a cow came trotting into the meadow Brian and I were in. I didn't have a cow tag and Brian didn't have a tag at all, so of course the cow just stood there watching us. We radio'd Jeff, but the cow wandered off just before he got back to us. It was pretty eventful. Jeff and Lynn got sick from soup that went bad, I made friends with a sheep dog and we even had a little 4-wheeler mishap, but everyone is okay and well. No dead elk though.. .. .. :(

Happy Birthday

I have to wish a Happy Birthday to two of my very most favorite people today, October 17th!

First, my mother-in-law, Sheila. What an amazing woman! Sheila has been a support to me since I was dating her son in high school. She always wants what is best for me. She loves me no matter who I am and the choices I make. Sheila is always there to give advice when I need it. Sheila can always give me insight on the decisions I am making and even on little day to day ideas. Thank you for who you are Sheila. I am so blessed to have you in my life.

Next is Kim, my sister-in-law and one of my very best friends. Kim and I have grown closer and closer these past couple of years and I am not sure what I ever did without her. Kim is always on my side. She is always there to listen and help me through any situation - even if I just need to vent. She always seems to know what to say to make me feel more at ease. Kim is someone I am very comfortable with. I know I can talk her ear off or just sit in silence with her - it doesn't matter either way. I love her with all my heart and I am so grateful to have her in my life.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Memory Lane (Great Idea by my friend Jess)

I thought this was a fun idea. I would love to hear some of the memories you all have.

First, leave a comment on my blog about a memory that you have with me, then do this on your blog and I'll leave a memory I have with you.

Here we go!

The Coolest Trailor in Town

So for a long time, Brian and I have wanted to paint our camp trailor. In September, we were telling our friends Weston and Christa that we wanted to paint it camo. Weston was all for it. And we are lucky he's so crafty because we got the trailor painted just a few weeks later. THANKS WESTON AND CHRISTA!!! Now our trailor was cool before; small, can take it anywhere, fits about 8 people in it... But NOW look at it!!

About Me

My photo
We have been married for over 8 years. In those 8 years we've lived in Taylorsville, St. George and Cedar City and now have our first home in West Valley City. Brian is currently a pharmacy technician and attending school to become a pharmacist. He loves the outdoors: hunting, camping and 4-wheeling. He's also taken up some interest in backpacking. Stephanie is working as an independant contractor doing photography, data entry, graphic design, cleaning, finances, etc. She is also an admin for Zions Securities. She is still teaching at Clayton Productions, has her own photography business (Wood Photography) and a little craft business (Woodn't You Know). (website http://wood-photo.blogspot.com or www.myspace.com/woodphotography). Stephanie is also attending WGU and hopes to have her degree finished by the end this year. Stephanie loves scrapbooking, movies, poetry, photography, bike riding, dancing and the outdoors. We're loving life and living it to the fullest we can!
